Art of Her Project Lead 

Women's Health Matters is looking for a qualified female art therapist to join our team, working with young women aged 16–25 who are seeking to improve their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference, supporting young women to build confidence, resilience, and emotional wellbeing through creativity.

 

21 hours per week (including weekly evening group)

Fixed term to end of March 2027 (potential to extend or increase hours)

£29,073-£30,998 pro rata

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Vacancy

There is currently a volunteer vacancy at WHM for women who are parents to support women who are care leavers in a new group.

This is a weekly volunteering commitment, and you must be available on a Monday.

Women who have previously accessed WHM services are particularly welcome to apply.

Become a Trustee

At this time, we are only seeking former service users to join our Board of Trustees. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of women, girls, and families in Leeds. 

Serving as a trustee is not only an incredible way to support a cause you're passionate about, it's also an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development. As a trustee, you'll help shape the strategic direction of our charity, learn new skills, build confidence, and strengthen your CV. It's a meaningful way to give back to your community while gaining valuable experience. ​​

 

Your experiences, ideas, and perspectives can help us grow stronger, reach more people, and provide the best support possible to those who need us most.
