Art of Her

Project Overview

This 8-week creative wellbeing programme is specifically designed to support young women aged 16-25 who are seeking to improve their mental health and emotional well-being. This group provides a safe, supportive space to explore self-expression through art making and to increase self-confidence and wellbeing through connection with others and creativity. The group is suitable for all young women aged 16-25 and there is no previous art experience needed.

Project Outcomes

To provide participants with a creative outlet for expressing their emotions in a safe space

To improve self-esteem, self-awareness, and emotional resilience through the use of art and creativity

To create a supportive, non-judgmental space where participants can connect with others

To equip participants with healthy coping mechanisms to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions

  • Free creative wellbeing sessions for all - no art experience needed

  • Time and space for women and girls to engage with their creativity

  • Access to high quality resources and materials

  • Work to take home if wanted

  • Refreshments
