Bluebirds
Project Overview
Funded by the Ministry of Justice, Bluebirds is a project for women and girls aged 11+ who have experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual violence, and as a result, are experiencing mental ill-health. Bluebirds offers two small groups (one online and one in-person) to aid in trauma recovery. Please indicate whether online or in-person group is preferred in your referral. Please note this is not a domestic abuse educational programme.
We also offer one-to-one practical and emotional support, for internal referrals, with workers taking a trauma-informed approach to support women and girls to address worries and develop coping strategies to manage anxiety. Please note one-to-one work is only for women and girls already active in service with WHM. You cannot externally refer into Bluebirds one-to-one support.
