Project Overview

Feel Good is a health and wellbeing group for women with learning disabilities. The group offers a safe, supportive space to explore important topics such as healthy friendships and relationships, being confident, staying safe, and looking after our health. Sessions are interactive, accessible, and tailored to the women attending.

Project Outcomes

Women attending Feel Good will:

  • Have greater knowledge of how to care for their bodies

  • Recognise healthy and unhealthy relationships/friendships

  • Understand consent, personal boundaries, and how to stay safe

  • Feel more confident and empowered

  • Identify their needs and develop self-care skills

  • Build positive support networks

 

Project Offer

Feel Good offers:

  • A women-only, safe environment

  • Easy read and accessible resources

  • Healthy refreshments

  • Support with transport costs
