Feel Good

 

Project Overview

Run in partnership with People in Action, Feel Good is our weekly healthy relationships group for women with learning disabilities.
Each week, women attending the group will look at various topics, including taking care of our bodies, having healthy relationships, keeping safe, and being confident.

Project Outcomes

Women attending Feel Good will:

  • Have increased knowledge on how to take care of their bodies

  • Be able to identify their own needs and use self-care techniques

  • Recognise the signs of a healthy relationship

  • Be able to identify early warning signs

  • Be able to keep themselves safe

  • Have increased confidence

Project Offers

Feel Good offers:

  • Support with transport to and from group

  • Creche facilities for those with children over the age of 6 months

  • Refreshments
