Snowdrops

Project Overview

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increased need for support, we set up the Snowdrops project. Initially funded by emergency funding from several different funders, and now by Awards for All and The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, the project offers one-to-one practical and emotional support for those who need it most. Snowdrops is open to any woman across Leeds who has experienced trauma and been affected by the pandemic.

Project Outcomes

Women who attend Snowdrops will:

  • Increase their knowledge of how to better manage their mood

  • Increase their knowledge of how issues such as poor sleep and diet can impact on their mood

  • Be able to identify their own needs, and use self-care techniques learnt through the group

Project Offer

Snowdrops offers:

  • Online groups for women to come together and explore topics and themes around wellbeing

  • Opportunities to lead the group and co-produce activities

  • Access to practical and emotional support from project workers
