The Purple group was formed in June 2011 bringing older women together to support them in strengthening their own social networks and offering opportunities to expand upon and share their life experiences, knowledge and skills.

What the women say: 

"I like meeting people.  It gets me out of the house and we have a laugh."

We had a trip to Roundhay Park: "It were nice and relaxing.  We had a bit of a walk around the park and went to the cafe."

 The group meets in Hunslet on a Thursday morning.  We can organise transport to and from the group for any women that need it.
